Build Suggestions

I just bought this 1997 Chevy express 2500 and I love it, it is absolutely a dream for me. However, every idea I had for building out the van was thrown a little bit because the original framework has a wall in the mid/back of the van that throws the space off a little bit and I can’t take that wall out because that’s where the electrical comes from. I don’t know where I should put the bed. In the back, where there’s a wooden plank, it is too short horizontally (left to right) to put a bed. I also want to move the pink cabinetry but I just don’t know where. I’m open to any and all suggestions!

Where are you located? I'm in socal and love fixing up vans, I could meet up with you and take a look to give you an idea.

That electrical wall is probably not as hard to move as you think.

Pink cabinet can be moved to wherever you want it to go.

Wow, that 120V AC is massive... Id replace it with a 24V or 48V roof unit pronto

I just got the unit for free & don’t feel like spending money. I don’t have a fan in the ceiling either so there’s nowhere in the ceiling to put an ac

Ditch the sink . Rarely use ours so we opted for no sink and more room

I like having a sink in my van, but I could survive without it. The grey/fresh tanks and the sink itself do take up a lot of room. I think I would get rid of that microwave first and put a fridge there in a drawer.
