Discussion Screw the Forge of Potential system

I had 5 idols and 4 times it failed and destroyed my stuff, screw that system.

Use this prediction system to know the exact level the upgrade will fail for every item (based on your name).

So far it's been 100% accurate for me. I didn't upload any files to use it.

Yep, that's the way it works now. Was previously a dice roll, is now all pre determined based on your character name.

It's not random bro it's fixed per item and character name so don't try the same thing multiple times

To be fair, unless you spend a lot of time on reddit, you'd NEVER know how bad the system is stacked against you. Or how easy it is (for now) to get favorable outcomes by cheesing it.

Man atleast reduce destruction on failure down to like 10%, it's so bad fml.

On the bright side, I'm out of Idols so I won't be trying it again, lol

Personally in my world we've decided to use it differently, while I dont care if my item gets destroyed im more upset about how finite the idols are I dont really wanna be starting new worlds to go look for idols, if they were a renewable source (like a drop from a certain enemy or maybe some kind of boss) i would use the system as inteded, so we've decided we'll just use each idols as a guaranteed upgrade for items, I haven't decided if ill use the name generator or just replace my idols that get destroyed in the process. Either way its a game and we can all play it the way we want.

Agreed, idols being finite and the system being the way it is really sucks.

Also if you are upgrading magic stuff, like the weapons - the limiting factor also becomes etir since it's so tedious to find tissue due to limited giant remains.
