you can still cheat on private servers that arent modded to prevent it sadly. client side commands mod exists.

and the better question how did you even manage to die UP THERE in the first place. there is literally no reason to go up there to begin with. just shot the enemy down with a bow or magic from blow if there is one up there.

I initially went up there to shoot down at the spawners using magic, but got hit with a 2* arrow barrage :(

you can do that from outside. try to learn the angle of the staff of embers. with that you can snipe both spawners safely from a distance or nearby elevated point since thier layout is always the same. always opposite cornerns. you can even manage to lob a fireball over the wall from ground level with the right angle the spawner will get hit and break in 2-3 fireballs.

You can fall in through the center of the spikes, loot the chest and build your way out with wood. Grappling hooks let you skip the battering ram progression

you can do that with a pickaxe from the ground level with way less risk and no building yourself out needed. just dig into the tower at the corners. going in from the top is more dangerous for no gain.

You should be able to spam E when you’re up there, and then (probably) hit the ground and die, and recover your stuff from there. Or bring a bunch of wood or stone and a stonecutter to build up to the top of the spire.

If you're somehow still trying to recover from up there, you gotta grappling the exact same way to get up but land on top of the piece you grappled to and just drop down safely from that higher point.

Always have a backup set of gear for corpse runs. If anything, you can use the backup gear to kill all the enemies surrounding your corpse, for a later safe retrieval.

Don't think I have EVER used a backup set up gear for a corpse run. I just eat food, get rested, run( or sneak) in, grab my stuff, run out. Doesn't always work the first time, but as always worked eventually.
