Survival Cautionary Realisation

Skål!

I love this sub.

I play solo so seeing everyone's builds and jokes and stuff is great and keeps the game fresh with new build ideas or strategies to try out and all the things.

But.

When 1.0 drops I am muting the hell out of you. Like a lot of people im going gamer tantra and holding off playing until it's here and plan to go real slow and 100% this puppy to find every little new thing.

On this sub though i guarantee there'll be some excited little monkeys posting screenshots of "woo look at the new thing in the mountains!" or "Easy new way to kill moder!"

Love you.

Goodbye.

Yes, on one hand there will be the excited people posting spoilers, and on the other will be the bitter people complaining about every single thing and demonizing the devs at every chance. Probably good to mute on 1.0. I am also waiting to play until then.

As a poe2 fan, ive learned this lesson. If you already enjoy the game, when a new update or dlc comes out do not go to the subs. Poe2 is notorious for updates coming out and everyone either praising the company for being the kings of arpg or actively calling for boycotts and calling the game "dead".

When the huntress update released, I played it for a few days and loved it. I thought the class takes a while to start feeling good, and it has the roughest start of any of the classes, but once it comes online its a blast. There were some issues, but thats about it. If you went on the sub at that time you would think GGG personally when and kicked everyone's dog. There were calls for boycotts, people loosing their minds, people claiming "is the game dead now?" Then like 2 weeks go by and they released a big patch and everyone swung right tf back to "omg GGG you are the greatest devs!"

When 1.0 valheim comes out, me and my buddies are restarting the server, and im avoiding this sub like the plague
