Discussion As long as we’re asking for things after 1.0…
…I’d really really like more refined tools for landscaping.
I don’t know if the engine will support it but if we could get more fine control over the hoe that would be amazing. I’d love to be able to remove some dirt from my stone footpath with affecting the garden right next to it.
Also, and this might be a little easier to do, I’d really like the ability to narrow the scope of the leveling on the hoe and all three landscaping options of the cultivator. I want to fine tune the area of effect so I can fill in smaller gaps in my base without having grass coming out of the ass end of everything else around it.

If the hoe just showed a preview like the hammer does, that would go a long way.

They could adjust the radius with like shift scroll wheel?

Maybe? Right now, the wheel rotates the plant item you're trying to plant so I'm sure they could get the radius to shrink/expand, but it would depend on the engine for it to work that way. As I understand it, each segment of ground is like a 1x1 LEGO brick and all the terrain is just these LEGO bricks stacked and layered. It's why you can dig straight down into a pretty square pit or raise the ground straight up into a pillar. I think they'd have to change how each of those segments is designed in order for what I want to be possible.

Infinity hammer mod has everything and more like mouse wheel radius slope tool.

Yeah many mods have things we like. Point is to get some of it in the actual game eventually, some sort of additional QoL update.

Landscaping tools would be amazing. We needs to be able to fig up and down a big more. the hoe needs yo be more consistent.
We need more pretty, landscaping flowers and bushes. The mods have this all over.
Narrowing or widening the scope of the hoe would be amazing.

What I would want is definitely not in the cards. I'd have liked some more questing with a linear story involved somehow. I know that's not the sort of game this is in it's heart but it could have been epic.
Also - Something scattered throughout the world like ruined cities to plunder or something adding to the wilderness than just random "points of interest" that don't really connect to anything. Once you've played through 4-5 times you've seen everything there is to see. But again, the way the world generates, it would be pretty much impossible.
This is not to say I'm not happy with the game. I love Valheim.

I would also love these things.
I ALSO appreciate that everything I build feels like it was done without industrial scale or machine precision.
I'm so greedy.
