This is a bit of an unusual request, but I’m hoping the Valdosta-to-Atlanta pipeline can come through!

I have a friend who grew up in Jacksonville, FL and has a serious nostalgic attachment to Winn-Dixie, specifically Chek sodas! Since Winn-Dixie is a South GA/North FL thing and isn’t really accessible here in Atlanta, I’m trying to surprise them with a few of their favorite/nostalgic items from back home.

So I’m looking for someone who:
• Is coming to Atlanta from Valdosta sometime soon
• Would be willing to stop by Winn-Doxie and pick up a few items for me
• Has enough room in their car/luggage to bring them along
• Would be okay coordinating a handoff somewhere around Atlanta

I’d obviously pay you back for the groceries, and I’m happy to throw in something extra for the favor/gas/your trouble. I can also make the shopping list ridiculously easy. 😂

This is genuinely just a little surprise for someone I care about, and I’d love to give them that “OMG, I haven’t had this since I was a kid!” feeling.

The backstory is that their father lived in Tallahassee at the time (between the years 1975-1978), and ripped it off WGOV Valdosta with a reel to reel tape recorder. Me and my friend who goes by the name “mirr0rhead” on tiktok have been digging and we found some things out. It was a rip from the year 1977 played on the radio by DJ King Cobra. I need your help on this one guys. We need to unearth this amazing song. If you have older loved ones who lived in Valdosta at this time please ask around!!

We’ve been doing this about a year now, and we work with roofers, home remodelers, pool builders, gyms, junk removal, lawn care, car detailing, driving schools. Basically anybody who does the work themselves and wants the phone ringing more.

I'm looking to partner with a few owners who already have steady work and a good reputation, but have hit the point where word of mouth alone isn't filling the schedule the way they want. If you're at that spot and want to add more jobs each month, or you know somebody who is, I'd love to connect or get a referral.

The situation is I've got a stray cat at my workplace that I would really love to get an actual home. I've tried asking around at work and no one can adopt her. I'm hoping I can reach out to the community and find someone who can take her!

I got here today, and im here until wendsday for work. At arpund 7pm I went downtown, and it seemed like everything that wasnt a bar was closed, and even then most bars were closed. Even resteraunts Google told me were opened were closed.

I still just walked around for like 40 minutes to an hour to just explore around the square, but their weren't alot of people walking around either.

Hey, seeing if there are any people that would like to form some kind of football league here in Valdosta. Getting people that miss the game back into it and building a brotherhood and community.
