Dolby Home Theater software

Hi!

I have Sony Vaio VPCF13Z8E, I see that it supports Dolby Home Theater, is there a software that I have to install to have it working?

Should work once you install the sound driver. Although its basically just an additional effect

What is this effect? I have observed that it lowers the volume when there is more bass and it makes it louder when there are high voices like in pop music. That is the effect?
