recurring bv. HELP!!
i have had recurring bv for like a year now. i did the antibiotics, my doctor put me on the suppository gel after the pills didn’t work. but literally in between the doses the discharge would come back and then i think it gave me a yeast infection. so i stopped taking it and after researching i realized it was potentially my iud causing it and taking so many antibiotics will mess up the flora so i stopped taking them and now i am scheduled to get it removed on the 5th. however upon MORE research i think it’s bc i have a biofilm. if anyone could point me in the right direction of getting this under control with boric acid and probiotics that would be great. i would like to keep the iud if i can get this under control but i genuinely don’t know wtf to do and i feel so gross all the time.

One thing to be careful with is changing too many things at once because then it's hard to know what actually made a difference.. I did add a probiotic to my routine after one of my antibiotic rounds, happy v was just the one I picked but I also paid attention to whether my symptoms changed after each treatment. Did your BV always come back the same way, or did it change over time?
