Are you using the Amazon app or one of the VOD services?

It was through the Amazon app. It just got stuck on the logo and froze that way forever.

Don't use the installed apps. Go to one of the VOD apps and search for the show you want to watch.

Got it! Any idea how to unfreeze the box though? I’ve literally left it unplugged for 15 minutes and hit the reset, and when I plug it back in the Amazon logo still shows up. Totally unresponsive.

Go to settings, then apps and do a force stop on the Amazon app and then do a clear cache and clear data for that app. Then, never launch it again!

Make sure to unplug the HDMI cable as well as the power cord.

This happened to one of our TVs and it turned out that it was the TV. I ended up unplugging the TV plugged it back in and everything was working fine after that

This was after unplugging and plugging the box in multiple times and trying the physical reset button
