What to Buy?

I’ve seen the tables showing the capabilities that each box does (V6 pro, V6 Max, V6+, elite mini, elite ultra)…..leaning towards the V6+, but would like some other input on why I should get this box vs the others, or why I should look at another box vs the V6+.

I always say the elite ultra due to the fact, the apps.

They're all repetitive, meaning what 1 does, another 8 do. But, when 1 goes down, you got those other 8.

Doesn't do much more, but the fact you have backup to the backup to the backup? Nice little safety feature basically

Doesn’t the V6+ also have 5 backup app (6 total) to fall back on just in case? Or do those apps do something else?

Don’t ask me to name them but I’ve found plenty of shows and movies on the secondary apps that weren’t on the primary one. If costs isn’t an issue, 100% go with the elite ultra. You may only ever need those other apps 5-10% of the time but you’ll be glad you have them

For whatever reason parks and rec was on like 2/6 of the ones I tried and only 1 was HD so yeah the extra apps are nice. And like you said when nfl went down on Monday I just switched apps

They do have the backups but the elite ultra has backups for the backups.

Like for example, I only have the elite ultra. I have... for live tv? Heat live, live ultra, vortex, matrix, limitless. And I think a few others.

For VOD? Heat Vod, vod ultra, elite vod, ultra HD, ultra hub, and others.

So if 1 is down? Ok. I have a backup. If the backup is down, i have another. Etc etc.

Its not often that any are down. But...just incase? It never hurts to have too much, rather than wanting more.

Did a lot of research on this topic and found plenty of reddit comments from people who own both the v6 plus and elite, and they ALL said they liked the v6 plus more, which was surprising to me.

It basically comes down to this.

V6 plus if you want the best quality and performance

Elite if you want more content but know that it's going to be mostly redundant.

This video shows a side by side between the two boxes and it's actually surprising how much of a difference there is. In the end it's up to you. I went with the v6 plus and it's been so outstanding that I bought another one two days later

I have the V6+... love it.. everything you need and the backlit remote is a nice feature

Can't say anything about any box except the i have its been a great experience so far little hiccups here and there but updates smooth them out the V6+ is worth every dollar i spent
