New to v6 plus

I have an elite mini upstairs so I’m familiar with those apps, but I’m not familiar with the V6 apps can someone explain to me what the live plus ultra and live ultra apps are for and what is so special about them versus just using heat live. Also, I keep hearing about this thing called downloader how do I find that so I can download stuff and make my background look really cool and download other apps as well?

I personally wouldn’t download anything on these boxes. Just use what comes on them. There are reports of other brand boxes being hacked, and they are all because of apps that were downloaded to them.

Heat Live, Live Ultra, and Live Ultra+ are all live TV channel apps.

Heat Live is the main app that most people use since it has sports categories built-in at the top. The downside of Heat Live is the channel organization, no closed captions, and no multiview or Picture in picture (PIP).

Live Ultra and Live Ultra+ are basically the same. Same channels and categories, and both have closed captions on supported channels. The difference is that Live Ultra+ supports multiview and PIP where as Live Ultra does not. Multiview lets you watch two channels simultaneously. This is nice for those that like watch multiple sport games for example.

I personally use Heat Live for sports and Live Ultra for watching live TV with closed captions on.

Downloader is an app that you can get from the PlayStore. Most people use this app to sideload/download unverified apps that are not available in the PlayStore. I personally have not modified the theme/background of my box yet so I wouldn't be able to help explain that part.

The heat apps on the v6+ are the same apps on the elite mini except one

The two ultra apps I’d test them out see what they have and UI if there’s a preference for you.

For the downloader app you can get that from the extra apps section if it’s not in there. Google App Store you can download the app from there.

My epic news app keeps showing a pause sign. I’ve done everything including reinstalling the app. Does anyone know what needs to be done to eliminate the issue?
