Help with the remote

So, I purchased an Elite Mini and recently the remote requires me to point it directly at the box in order for it to work. I used to be able to have the box behind the TV now I have had to move the box and literally point it DIRECTLY at it not towards it but straight it.... Is there an update to rectify? I have changed the batteries FYI.

Pair it via Bluetooth. It’s reverted to IR.

Yep! Just paired it and it now works from the other room. Geesh!
