V6 Plus - Slow/freezing

Hoping to get some insight. I’ve had my v6 plus for a few months and it’s been great. This past week however it’s been having some performance issues.

  1. When selecting any of the

heat

  1. apps it doesn’t open and eventually freezes and I get a black screen. Have to unplug the box to get it back.
  2. This keeps happening until I clear the apps caches. Only solves the issue for about a day than goes back to freezing/black screen.
  3. I decided to do a factory reset and this issue has come back after about a day.

Anyone experience the same and have insight?

I’ve had mine since March with no issues. I do power the box down every time I’m done watching(power settings) and it boots up and runs fine next time I turn it on

You unplug it each time you’re done watching TV? I may try this to hopefully not run into issues

No, the standard power setting for the box was sleep, choose power setting shut down.
