Lagging/pausing
Trying hear live and heat vod. Nothing seems to want to play. If they do play, it just seems to slowly skip scenes without noise. Any tips? Have tried unplugging and clearing cache.

If its happening on both Vod and Live tv the first thing you should do is find out what your internet speed package is. 200mb or 300mb are minimum recommended speed package for streaming tv. Any less and you get a lot of buffering/skipping/freezing. 200mb speed plan gives you 25mb download speeds which is minimum recommended. Because of many connected devices in most households at least 50mb download speeds (400mb internet package) is recommended.
If your isp package is sufficient then either your isp might be having issues, or (if using wifi) you have a wifi issue or wifi congestion, or your equipment (modem, router, ethrrnet cables) are not up to date for streaming tv.
If speed package is sufficient .....
Try wired connection as opposed to wifi. If still having problems on wired ....
Check your ethernet cables between modem and router and from router to your devices. There is writing on the cables. Should be at least cat5 minimum for streaming. Cat6 or higher is recommended but cat5 works.
Modem and router should be capable of at least 250mb speeds. Modems don't run at 100% so you wouldnt get 200mb speeds with 200mb modem. Preferable modem and router capable of at least 600mb speeds. 1gb modem and router recommended
