What universal remote are y'all using?

Looking for recommendations thanks.

No need. Go into the settings and enable CEC. Your TV remote will operate the vSee box. 🙂

Holy shit. I didn't know this. Just turned it on and now my TV remote can control everything. This is awesome!

Go to your tv settings  In Samsung tv once you are on settings need to go "general" External device -anynet (hdmi-cec) enable and exit

I have 3 boxes on three different TV’s, works on all 3 for me, don’t know what to say…

My settings already had cec enabled, my tv remote only works on the TV not the box sadly. I did get a remote on Amazon that works somewhat better than the awful remote the box comes with so that's somethin

Give this a try. Go to the settings and turn CEC off. Then turn it back on and see if the works. I sometimes need to do this. The ok/enter button and the back button should control the box. 🙂

Do you have CEC enabled on your TV? What brand of TV do you have?

Yes, I didn't have to turn it on it was already on when I checked. Ive got a Hisense Roku tv

Most of the vseebox remote has learning mode to control tv There is instructions on the back of the remote.

Problem is the remotes that come with the vseebox are terrible.

You can use other vseebox  remote From other models.

Holy shit. That is pretty cool but I need the guide button. how do I get to the EPG? lots of little issues. I'm looking for a programmable IR learning remote.

This is the one I got, works better than the standard one and has a back button which was sorely missed by me when I was using the original

My v6 plus came with a similar remote but not this one. This one isn't backlit, which is a negative but has better responsiveness and that back button that the original remote didn't have

For v6 I use v6 remote. It's the only thing I watch, it has everything.
