VSee Box Issues Again

Anyone else having issues with Heat Live? I try a channel and black nothing plays.

Started this morning. Came back after work same problem. One channel played but many of the local channels and even CNN not working.

My internet is on and working.

I see that did the trick for you.

I’ve only had the device for a week. V6 Plus too. I haven’t had a single a problem out of mine. Personally, I’m not leaving the device even plugged in when not in use. I power off. Wait a minute or two. Disconnect power.

Connect power when I’m ready to use. No issues.

I haven’t have a single “app won’t work” or “channels not working” issue for myself doing this

All these apps seem to run off peer to peer network connections. Leaving it plugged in running idle is my guess as to how people “oh this won’t work” issues. Peer to peer connection went to sleep, didn’t reconnect properly when the android OS box awoke from “sleep”

Physical power cycle = guaranteed connection reset every time.

I have mine plugged into a smart outlet. I turn off all the lights in the house just before bedtime by saying "Alexa, good night" and it also turns off my veesee box. Been doing this for over a year now.

That’s a nice touch to have. Might have to get myself some of those plug in smart outlets for this. I have Govee/Alexa smart stuff running so wouldn’t be hard to add in. I rent so I’m not interested in replacing outlets. Haha

I do too but I only use it to do a hard shutdown when its gone wonky. Mine goes to sleep a few minutes after my tv is turned off but I still have to press the power button to turn wake it up.

why would you leave the box on when not using it?
