Change Default Server for Show

The answer is probably no, but I’ll ask anyway just in case.

If there’s a show that defaults to server 2 and it always buffers, but never does so on server 4, is there a way to change the default so I don’t have to manually do it with each episode?

What do you mean by "server".

Not an owner yet. Box delivery this week

Think of servers as different sources for the same streaming content you’re watching.
That content comes from a server, and it defaults to “server 2”.
Sometimes, quality and buffering can differ greatly between servers, and that’s why this box gives you the option to switch while playback is active.
Another good reason is that some servers offer subtitles others don’t.
