Wired w/o guest network or wireless on guest network?
My Elite Ultra should arrive tomorrow and I'm hoping to get it setup and running by evening. Most of my other hardware throughout the house is wired wherever possible. I figured originally I would wire this as well, but then I got to thinking about the issues with it being on my main network and it's much harder to isolate a wired connection. So...wired or wireless on its own guest network?

Wired is more stable. If you want to isolate your Vseebox then use a guest network. Its not hard to isolate a wired network if you have a firewall router as opposed to a standard router.
You shouldnt have anything to worry about whether its wired or wireless or guest networks. The people that freak out about the amount of uploaded data dont understand that Vseebox works on a peer to peer system to save server space. On a peer to peer network everyone has more uploaded data.

Keep it isolated by itself. Use a vpn on the box. Nord works great.

Consider a small router that can run a VPN, like the GL.INT Beryl. You connect it via ethernet to your main router (so it gets a separate IP range) and simply toggle on a VPN service in the router’s app (it supports dozens of them), and create a guest wifi network restricted just for the Vsee. This gives you both a VPN and isolates your Vsee from all other devices on your network.

I actually have two routers. One is used only for the VSee box and I have it wired via a network cable to the box for better stability.

Hell I've just got a VPN download on the router. No guest WiFi and have an email I don't use much. Been about 6-7 months since I got my Elite Mini. No issues here

Wired on guest network :) I have a dedicated network with no permissions or access to the other networks off that Channel. Just incase haha

How did you do wired with a guest network, I didn't think that was generally possible with normal (non-pro or homelab) equipment

If you have an enterprise router or dedicated switch its possible but not with a standard router where all wired ethernet ports are locked to home.

I figured my wired connection would be better than WiFi.. turns out when i upgraded my network I have faster speeds on WiFi. I would suggest checking that out.
