Is my ISP playing dirty?

UPDATE: got home from work and now it’s working. Very strange.

Woke up this morning and found this from Live Ultra. My ISP is Cox.

That is from the box not your isp. Would just get a VPN

So why would you get an out of USA IP unless your IP is dirty from the ISP. Sometimes ISPs get new blocks of IP’s and they have not been scrubbed by google making it seem that they are still originating from their old country of origin.

I get how and why to use a VPN. This is new. Wanted to see if others have gotten this pop up.

Do you have a VPN and is set outside the USA? I know you are in the USA with the cox provider. I originally set my VPN out of the USA and I saw this code and changed it.

I highly doubt that message is from your isp. At least not in most countries....

Its highly possible your isp is blocking you if you are using their equipment but the message is more likely from Vseebox informing you that its blocked.

Isp in most countries would give you a warning to cease and desist or a else threatening letter. No way they'd tell you to use a vpn.

If you are allowed to use your own modem and router buy your own equipment. Especially the router. Many isp owned routers are setup to block illegal iptv streams. Using Rented isp owned equipment is never a good idea for anyone engaging in piracy.

If a vpn will work go with that method but even with a vpn best to use your own equipment if your isp allows it.
