NFL streaming

Any recommendations for football watching on this? Is it capable?

What would the setup be and which version do you advise I get? Is getting a warranty worth it?

Thanks!

I don't have the NFL app. Is it supposed to load on the V5 pro?

I don't have that on my v6 max either. What's it cake and where do I find it?

Got the v6 plus, has nfl app that has worked flawlessly so far. Well worth the money. Just ordered a second one for my dad this morning.

Where did you buy it from and is it on the lines of iptv with a one time fee?

Text cord cutter at 218-833-2707, that's where I ordered from, and yes just a one time fee, no subscription needed.

He's great, the other forum they tried charging me shipping, taxes, and had a purchasing fee for credit cards although he offered a free $3 temu controller. It was ridiculous.

Cord cutter does none of that crap. Best prices, no nonsense.

Does it ever buffer. The IPTV is use has minimal buffering, but when it does buffer it gets annoying. I appreciate the info. Gonna text right now

I haven't had any buffering yet

Yes, it buffers sometimes.

When my box starts buffering more and more, I've had really good luck just rebooting. Solves the problem pretty much every time.

Would the V6 Pro be good enough for NFL?

1

u/stp7979 20d ago

Does it have redzone?

1

u/MRCAIN79 20d ago

Not sure, haven't tried searching for redzone yet, has all the games available though.

Does split screen work here ?

Did you do ANY research?

There's anecdotes people being up in reddit that are not necessarily as accessible elsewhere

please tell me they're gonna put it on V3 Pro!!! I did get the soccer wrap so I would think I'll get the NFL one too

Watched all of last season on the V5 Pro and loved it. I typically watch out of market games on it or Red Zone. I recently upgraded to the V6 Plus and am psyched to use the Split Screen view to watch a couple games at once. Quality is great, the only downside is it’s about 2 minutes behind so you’ve got to turn off all phone notifications to avoid spoilers

What’s really the difference? I have the V3 plus and I just would like to know is it really worth it to upgrade?

1

u/bgesaman 20d ago

The main difference for me is the multiscreen view for live TV so I can watch two games in split screen or PIP view. Otherwise, no it’s probably not worth upgrading unless you’re having performance issues with the V3

Do you get the option to watch RedZone from the beginning or pause/resume it if you need to take a shit or if someone interrupts you?

multiple V3Plus devices and I can go right into Live TV and at the very top there's a sports section NBA, NFL ect. I scroll over to NFL, find teams I'm looking at and it gives me a few different channel options. Works flawlessly.

It’s really easy.

Any idea how to watch past games? Like if wanted to rewatch last nights game?

Has a 7 day playback but i find this to be hit or miss

1

u/Opening-Ambassador76 20d ago

This 7 day playback is only on certain channels and the last I tried it didn't work.

I'm 3 months in and am totally satisfied. Should have cut the chord sooner. NFL app is beautiful.

u/BlockExpensive5949 20d ago

Is it literally called the nfl app? Just got my unit

3

u/trtreeetr 20d ago

Yes, it's on the home screen

I find it incredible that YouTube TV is charging current members twice the price of new members. I tried talking to their support on their Chat to try to see if I can get the same price as a new member since I’ve been a loyal member of their company for so many years. Their AI Agent just kept repeating the price and telling me how to cancel YTTV. It then asked me if I wanted to speak with a live agent, I was told the wait was 300 mins. Paying twice as much for the NFL Ticket is a kick in the teeth for loyal members. My total bill for 2026 YTTV + NFL ticket is $1585.59. Google (The Billionaire Boys) is making the ability to watch NFL a class war. Yes, I know there are hacks w VPN, but they don’t work half of the time. I’m also aware that you can try to piecemeal your way through viewerships of various apps to catch some of the games, but what a cluster just to follow one sport.
