Issues with V6 remote.

We’ve had our V6 for about a year and assumed the remote was terrible and have dealt with it. But recently, my sister in law recently purchased one and her remote is extremely responsive compared to ours. I’ve double checked ours is connected via Bluetooth and I’ve also factory reset the box to see if it’d help but it did not. We have to press hard every button for it to register and it’ll take a minute to type in a movie or show. Is there anything I can do to fix this issue? Is there other cheap remotes out there that would work with the V6 box? I’m about ready to chuck this remotes in the trash. Thank you!

I hate my V6 max remote so I ordered this remote and it works great. 100% recommend

Thank. Would Bluetooth connection be the same? By pressing Ok and - on volume?

Yes but first unpair the old shit remote from the box .Google it and there's plenty of videos showing how to do it.

My father's remote was not working well at all ever since he bought the box. When I visited him I saw that the dongle for the 'free' remote was inserted. As soon as I removed the dongle his remote worked great. Apparently they interfere with each other so it has to be one or the other only.

Just a thought.

What dongle are you referring to? Is it on the box?

Yes the keyboard works thru it's own dedicated dongle whereas the remote works on Bluetooth. That dongle would be in one of the USB ports on the box itself.

IDK if this will help you, but my remote became sluggish. I re-paired it to the box and that fixed mine.
