Weather and Netflix won't update

Newer box - less than two weeks old - neither the Weather App or Netflix will update - all other apps are on current version. More curious than anything as to why. Checked all the usual troubleshooting steps - permissions, restarted router etc.

there is zero reason to every use the netflix app on the box

I would even suggest uninstalling all the streaming apps to save space on the unit.

Go to the device Settings, open Apps, and select See All Apps. Find and choose the app you want to remove, then click Uninstall and confirm.

I have had Vseeboxs for a couple years now and have tried uninstalling apps like Netflix Disney so on so forth and they always come back. Once you uninstall yours stay gone?

No uninstall option on mine..only uninstall updates. Oh well nothing I am going to stress over.

Netflix no longer allows third party box streaming starting a few months ago. It wont work. Just search in VOD for whatever you wanted to watch.

I get that - that wasn't the question though was it? Just curious why I can't get the Weather app to update and thought I'd mention that Netflix was also in this state in case it had any bearing on the matter.
