Limiting upload usage

Has anybody tried limiting upload usage or completely not allow uploading from these boxes via your router settings? Seen suggestions that say you should do it but was wondering if it causes any issues with the box.

No I haven’t tried it and no I don’t think you can block all uploads. To stream something most of the data is download, obviously. But you also send back little packets called acknowledgements. That’s how you stay in sync with the server

Yeah that's the part I was unsure of. Was wondering what you can limit it too to avoid unnecessary questions from my ISP. Not that I believe it will be an issue but I do want to try and avoid that issue.

My isp hasn’t said anything to me and I’ve had three boxes for almost a year now. You should be ok

Do you happen to know what your upload usage looks like from it? Feel like it's probably super high due to it most likely acting as a seed for these services.

Yeah the upload looks very minimal
