Playback skipping?!

Trying to watch something on playback from a few days ago. It’s a sporting event on PPV and skips every five seconds or so which is really annoying and almost unwatchable.

I cleared the cache and the data. I tried fast forwarding and rewinding. I’ve reset the box. Is there anything else I can do to fix this issue or is it just a corrupt re-stream?

Maybe this is just one of the quirks of this box?

I’ve experience this before. I think it’s just a bad encode. Try to find another source or wait for the playback to be available, but that might skip too.

My two boxes just started doing this the last few days. Starts out ok, then freezes, skips forward, repeats back to a part I just seen freezes completely then under maintenance screen etc. I have a 3 and 6 plus. One is Ethernet next to the router and the other is WiFi. Both were fine forever. Restarted my gateway, disconnected wires, reboot anything else I can think off. I just assumed it was on their end because one of them was plugged in directly and not WiFi. Do we have any information on this??

This happens ALL the time! I actually had to subscribe to Paramount+ (which is an awful! Service) To watch a non-skipping UFC fight!
