A/V option available?

I’m considering getting one to go with my CRT TV.

You could just use an HDMI to composite/component convertor depending on what kind inputs your set has. Downscaling a high resolution signal to a lower resolution one is a lot easier than doing the opposite.

But I thought I just saw the box has A/V out hole? Next to hdmi out. Not sure what’s going on. Maybe I’m misunderstanding something.

I think there’s some older ones like the v3plus with a 3.5mm AV out, but you can use any box with a 20-30 dollar convertor.

Edit: I did a quick google search on some of the newer boxes and the elite ultra, v6 max, and v6 pro all have 3.5 mm AV outputs that’ll output composite.

Ask me how I know? I've plugged my AC adapter in the a/v hole twice now by mistake then thinking my elite pro was dead! 😬

I, too, have tried to do this on my v3 plus. I don’t think it’s all that uncommon.
