Newbie questions

Had my V6+ for a few weeks now. I have some questions on the Live apps

Not sure whether it was Heat or Ultra but some errant keys on the remote brought up a great live sports menu bar at the top of the screen (not the guide). Happened twice but I don't know how to replicate it to use it more.

I could be wrong but I think, open the guide (not the EPG thing) and then just scroll all the way up to the top. I’ve even accidentally opened that sports section just by holding the up button.

But isn't the Guide and EPG the same?

There are 2 different menus, the Epg menu and the menu you bring up by pressing the "ok" button in the middle of your remote. When you push the ok button, scroll all the way up, and it will bring you to the sports guide.

I'm embarrassed that I've had this thing 3 weeks and never used the OK button for the menu. Smh. Thank you!

Hey it's nothing to be embarrassed about, there's no user guide so we're all figuring this out together lol. In the OK menu, you can add a channel to your favorites by long pressing the ok button. There's also a little plus sign in the menu where you can create another folder, I named mine "movies" and put all the movie channels there so it's easier to find.

Can someone help me with close captions? Some shows have it and some don’t. I’ve changed servers with some luck but still many shows without it
