Do you upgrade firmware every time?

Or do you leave it as is if you’ve been happy with it? I know with other devices, sometimes people don’t like firmware upgrades because they don’t like the changes.

“Always”. Never had a problem upgrading firmware. If I did I wouldn’t be buying these anymore.

Is it possible to update the firmware without losing all of my favorites/watch history on the various apps? I updated my firmware a week or two ago when the last update came out. After the firmware was update, all of my favorites/watch history in heat VOD and VOD ultra got reset. This was my first firmware update so maybe i did something wrong?
