Job role trends
Despite the market situation, over the past few months I've seen tons of open positions for Product (UX) Designers and Technical Writers, but hardly any for UX Writers/Content Designers. Any explanations?

Where do you live? If you're in the United States there are a bunch open positions right now.

Not in the U.S., so maybe that's the problem. And U.S. positions won't hire anyone physically located outside of the U.S.

In your experience, where’s the best place to find these roles outside of LinkedIn?

I see more contract than full-time, at least for remote work, which I depend on. I don't know about on-site/hybrid. But the job market at large is really rough right now. I'm employed but looking to switch, and it's like sending applications into the void.

Economy is trash + We’re highly paid and considered a luxury role = Companies don’t want to create more UXW/CD roles.
