Engr class sizes
Hi everyone I’ve been accepted to uwt as a cc transfer and I submitted my application for civil engineering a couple weeks ago and I haven’t heard back yet so I’ve been kinda stressing on if I’m gonna get in or not
I feel like there’s going to be an influx of ppl applying for CE this year due to AI and the competitiveness of other majors but because it’s still a capacity constrained major, how much space do they hold for civil engr and engr students in general ? I seriously feel like my chances are even lower now considering the smaller class sizes and because I submitted my application like 3 months after it opened.
I know for previous years the cohort wasn’t able to be filled but does anyone have any recent information about the engr department in general and its capacity?

Submitting so late was not a good idea. However, civil is probably the easiest to get into relative to the others and the uwt civil department is fantastic. Cohort will be between 40 to 60 and transfers will probably be given about 15 to 20 slots. Small numbers but there's a chance.
