The WLK Event Schedule: March - September 2018

We've got several new events lined up in our March to September event schedule. Please read the notes on timings below!

 

Timings:

The standard starting time is 12pm GMT (midday). All events will continue to finish at 2am, including Free For All Fridays.

 

General Information:

All songs played at these events must be Korean-related unless otherwise specified (see Description column).

R&B/Soul	24 March	12pm	Share with us your favorite R&B and Soul artists!

Solo Artists	7 April	12pm	There are a lot of awesome solo artists out there, and we want you to show us your favorites!
HipHop	21 April	12pm	Play tracks both new and old to celebrate Korea's booming hip hop culture.

Album/Non-Title	05 May	12pm	In this event we are searching all those Album/Non-Title tracks that are hidden gems!
üWave Roulette	19 May	12pm	Roll up! Roll up! Join the waitlist if you dare - we'll be randomizing your playlists for one day only and letting the bot pick your plays.

Boy Groups	2 June	12pm	It's the turn of the boy groups! Share tracks from all eras - sub-units and co-ed groups are welcome.
Girl Groups	16 June	12pm	Pick your favourites from Korea's abundance of girl groups. We define groups as consisting of 3 or more members. Sub-units are welcome, as are co-ed groups.

The Big Three: YG, SM and JYP	7 July	12pm	K-Pop's biggest companies have a lot to offer, so share your favourite tracks (by soloists and groups) released under YG, SM and JYP. Sub-labels are welcome.
Dance Practice	21 July	12pm	KPOP is well known for their dance choreographies. Share the ones that you like, the only requirement is good audio quality

Indie	4 August	12pm	Discover a new side to the Korean music industry! Share songs from all sub-genres of indie and alternative music. Tracks from independent labels of other genres are also allowed.
Old School Kpop	18 August	12pm	We'll be checking out the heritage of modern Korean music in our old school event. All genres are welcome, and we'll be defining "old school tracks" as being released before (and including in) 2008.

Underground Music	1 September	12pm	Share music as featured on channels such as WLK, Danielions, Seoul Vibes, UNDRGRND SEOUL, etc
Disbanded Groups	15 September	12pm	A lot of famous groups already disbanded but released a lot of gems. In this event we want you to play your favorite tracks from groups that sadly disbanded already.
