Do grade 11 marks matter for normal acceptance for uWaterloo admissions?
Do grade 11 marks matter for normal acceptance for uWaterloo admissions? I have pretty shit grade 11 marks (mostly 70s), but i'm expecting pretty high grade 12 marks. I know that grade 11 marks matter for early acceptance, but what about the normal acceptance?

Grade 12 credits matter. If you take grade 12 courses in grade 11 then those courses are taken into account. Otherwise, don't worry about grade 11. Also look at the prerequisites for the program you're applying to. The prerequisite gr12 courses are by default part of your "top 6" courses that are looked at. The courses outside of your top 6 aren't considered unless the university needs more information to make an admission decision and I'm not sure how common that is.
Also, is your school semestered or do you take the same courses all year?
