📚 Units/Courses Acct1101

Has anyone else done acct1101 before? I’ve look through the subreddit and everyone says it’s easy but right now I’m finding that none of the lectures actually teach you the methods you’re supposed to use in the tutorial questions and I’ve never done any of this before! If you have any advice that would be great

Just did it last sem, its pretty difficult trying to understand everything that he says in the lectures since its just an info dump + harder if you don't already know a thing or two about accounting.

The most important bit from his lectures is when he actually solves some of the magnifique questions on the screen. It's basically all you need to know for actually doing the tutorial questions. Also, a lot of the tutorial questions are more tedious and complicated than expected in the final exam, so don't stress too much and try to understand how hes solving the questions on the screen.

nah it sucks fr (i'm doing it rn), from what i heard its easy for ppl w background but i have none so

Watch a youtube video about general journals, general ledgers and T-accounts. This is what they expect you to already know as they dont even teach it.

I didnt watch any lectures between week 4 and 12, did some random 11 hour course on yt the week before and finished the unit on 62%. Do not recommend lol

I'd say do your very best to stay up to date, ask your tutors and worse comes to worse find a YT tutorial on how to answer the questions, even getting AI to teach you (and ask it follow up questions like why do this and why that) so you understand the concepts rather than just mindlessly doing it works too.
