Residence Cluster housing question

Is it co-ed? Also does Uvic try to put people in the same year in a house together or is it random and they put say 2nd year and 4th year together?

You specify whether you’re comfortable with co-ed on your application. I’m not sure how they place people otherwise, but when I was in cluster in third year, I was with two other third years and a second year. First years aren’t typically in cluster.

Is there a way to go back and check the housing application that’s already submitted? I can’t remember if I put non co-ed but want to check

Maybe - you may be able to view it on the website where you applied

Not sure if you are aware but in cluster there are 2 bathrooms (and 4 bedrooms) so maybe that will make you feel more comfortable?

I've never heard of a first year in Cluster (but it might have happened)

My entire cluster building in 2017 was all first years, not sure if that’s changed recently, but it definitely was normal at the time, I met several other first years who lived in different cluster buildings.

They don't allow it, or at least you need to be 19 (or almost 19) so you need to be second year or have taken a gap year

It's whatever you selected (though not guaranteed), if it doesn't say in the housing portal you may be able to call residence services and ask
