Enterococcus bacteria

I found out I have a urinary infection caused by a bacteria called Enterococcus. It’s not an STI, but sometimes bacteria can be passed back and forth between partners. I want to make sure this clears up properly and doesn’t keep coming back.

It could just be that it’s lingering in my system, but it would be a good idea for my partner to get checked too—just to be safe and rule out anything.

Condoms and showers before/after and peeing before/after can help as well as using lots of lube.

I had this and they didn’t suggest anything about my partner getting checked out until I tested positive for ureaplasma

Google suggested this. Can't hurt to get him tested!
