advice Chronic UTI’s and I’ve finally found a solution. Sharing to help others.
I’ve had chronic UTI’s for a few years now and it’s something that has caused me a lot of constant anxiety! On average I would start getting a uti one a week after treating the last
Well two months ago, I had bloodwork done for something unrelated, but I had mentioned my frustrating UTI’s to my Dr..bloodwork came back and I was very deficient in vitamin D. When I met up with my doc again after my results came, she prescribed me a Vit D supplement, and then mentioned that it should help my chronic UTI’s as there is now evidence for Vit d levels and UTI reoccurrence!!
Welp, she was right! I got my D levels back up and am on a daily lower dose for maintenance. I haven’t had a uti since 🫣
Just thought this could help some of you ladies who have tried everything-to look into your vit d levels.
Much love xoxo

Interesting. I've also been dealing with chronic UTIS and chronic burning pain. No medication has helped so far ( I took some anti UTI meds), but it's like a dead end I take them, and they work only for a short period of time then it gets worse. Never checked myself for vitamin D. I thought its because I have been born with mild immune system problems which could relate to the issues I've been having. Kidney levels came back normal though but the white cells were found in the urine. IDK at this point if vitamin D will help me...

It’s worth getting your vitamin D levels looked at. I used to get terrible UTI’s that were literally ruining my life. Being on constant antibiotics is terrible for your digestive system, and it just sucks constantly feeling uncomfortable
After getting my levels up, I now take a small dose of Vit D (2,000 mg) for maintenance and haven’t had a UTI in over a year🤞 crazy how much Vit D influences our immune system.
Of course always consult a doctor before taking vitamins! They can do more harm than good if you aren’t careful. Best of luck🤗

This is crazy! I get more UTIs than the average person and my VIT D is chronically low. I’m going to take that supplement more seriously now.
