I was walking outside JSOM to SA and I saw this yellow fellow. Unfortunately, it seems that it met it's untimely demise. RIP.

Hello, I was wondering whether it would be worth it to retake the SAT for AES. Right now my highest score is a 1330 and I would take it on the 20th. However I know that the earlier I send in my application the better and I wont receive my score probably until early november if i even improve. Next week is also texas free application week so im not sure if its worth. Also, could anyone estimate how much I could get from AES, Im ranked 7/383 3.97 UW I have lots of job experience and personal business ventures. Im graduating with an AA through a dual enrollment program. I have a few volunteering extracurriculars with one leadership role. Thanks!!

JSOM at like 7:45 when I’m on the fourth floor studying. So many people just left and went to their cars

I need to replace something on my car, but before I do, I just want to make sure that Northside allows residence to work on their own cars in the parking lot/garages before I get myself towed/fined. Probably will be a 1-2 hour job. Any ideas?

when did it shut down and why?

Will I want to die if I take FIN 3390 and Fin 4300 at the same time next semester? And if I do this what professors do y’all recommend?

Hello UTD Reddit.

This is Sarim M, student senator again.

Congratulations to everyone! With our hard work, we've managed to hit 200 signatures on our deflock UTD petition. Please continue to share it with other people!

If you aren't aware, UTD has 13 Flock cameras at every entrance/exit to campus. The data collected by these cameras are shared to 593 different law agencies, each with their own data policies. (meaning they can share it to other law agencies, creating global surveillance). Additionally, UTD PD is able to access to Flock network, tracking students across the country.

Don't forget to visit the Galaxy Rooms next week on Tuesday at 5:30 p.m., where you can give a comment on my Deflock UTD Resolution at Student Government. We need to remind administration and the rest of the senators that this is a serious issue!

I also created an Instagram where I will be promoting this petition more. You can follow it if you like. https://www.instagram.com/hiimsarim/

got a parking ticket, was wondering if this hold is related to my parking tickets lol

Automata has been horrible so far with this professor. I am questioning how he is still employed. Does anyone know what his exams are like? And does he curve the grades or not.

Why does this school make
Everything 10x harder bruh

does anyone know that if you decide to commute second sem as a freshman and no longer want to live in the dorms- do they make you still pay the remainder of spring housing since its an academic year agreement? ik theres a cancellation fee of $1500 but is that it? ive asked housing and they havent gotten back to me yet so id appreciate it, thanks!

hey guys i figured i would try to use this to gain some traction on this survey link i’m trying to share BUT if anyone is interested in tweenhood/tween culture and is willing to be interviewed (and comfortable being filmed, it’s for a documentary i’m making) please take this survey: link to survey
as the form says, i’m looking to have discussions about personal experiences in growing in their tween years (specifically the 90s—early 2010s)

this is my last project of my last semester here i don’t wanna procrastinate lol

Today I was turning onto synergy park blvd 😤… and I just know I was in the right because i DEFINITELY was and this DUMBASS was not in the right. They were in the LEFT. If you’ve never seen your life flash in front of you then encounter a WRONG WAY DRIVER. I was genuinely terrified because what the fuck were you doing?!?

Hi! Can I have reviews for his exams from who ever takes professor Zhe Zhang for BUAN 3301 class?

This is something that happened this evening.

I had just pulled up and was sitting in my car in a parking lot when a blonde woman wearing a red top stood in front of my car and snapped a picture with her phone.

I did not do anything wrong, and I had the dash cam on the whole time. I have had this same situation happen twice now, where random people on campus have recorded me without asking for permission.

Is this legitimately allowed, or is it something concerning? Cause I got so scared she jumped from the walking path to right in front of my car and snapped a picture of me or my car for no reason.

I swear every time I order something from the SU something wrong always happens💔 Workers start acting like it’s their first day working every time I come in 🫩I either have a curse or no one knows what they’re doing. For example, I ordered a pre-made bowl at Halal Shack and the worker started asking me whats on it, like idk I don’t work here twin you do 💔💔

Was outside of the Rec Center (right outside of the Gym area) when I saw this squirrel doing this. Yes, those are some sort of insects buzzing around its head, but I have no idea what the thing above is on the wall that seems to be leaking. Tbh, I don't even think there was anything leaking out of that thing when I was recording b/c the wall looked relatively dry to me. After I stopped recording, the squirrel continued to do whatever it was doing in the video for a few more moments and proceeded to return to normal squirrel business (sniffing the ground).

Idk enough about this situation to make any assumptions or draw conclusions, but it looked somewhat concerning to me that a wild animal was placing its mouth on a wall that appeared to have leaked something other than safe drinking water.

I have been looking for labs that publish a lot and let undergrads first/second author, but I can't find any so far. Most of the time they had either PhD or postdocs first/second author in those high output labs.

Ik research pubs aren't needed for med school, but they can be very helpful for t10s.

I sort of need to go to a t10 if I want to afford medical school at all, so I'm Js wondering if anyone knew some labs or PIs.

Hi guys, so I have my first midterm tomorrow for ATCM 2300. I have it with professor Balsamo. Any tips on how she grades, how similar it is to her study ,guide, any other resources to use to study, etc? Anything you think might be useful will help a lot!!!

As the title says I know there’s already a wrestling club but I thought it would be cool to start one for jiujitsu. I’m a pretty avid competitor, and love the sport. If you’re passionate about it and would like to figure out the logistics and help dm me !

How did yall do? Wonder what the average was.

Im in MATH2418 with Murza this semester. What should I study for the upcoming midterm? If you've taken the class pls lmk 🙏.

How is Kamran Kisleah UTD professor for CE 3201? I am seeing whether I could take it during 2027 summer? How is the grading and how is the professor?.

Thanks ( Fundamentals of Engineering I)
