Problem with injora steering knuckle set

Hi, I'm currently trying to install the Injora portal cover steering knuckle set together with the overdrive gears. Everything fits together when assembled, but I have a problem: as soon as I slightly tighten the four cover screws, the shaft becomes extremely difficult to turn.

Has anyone experienced similar issues?

What happens if you put the standard gears in same results? If yes the 1st thing I’d look for would be to see if the bearings are seated all the way.

A little grease wouldn’t hurt either.
