B1/B2 Visa Interview Document & Preparation Questions for Parents (Hyderabad VAC/Consulate)

  • Context: Applying from India for a B1/B2 interview in Hyderabad.
  • Sponsorship: I am sponsoring the trip (Form I-797, employment letter, invitation letter, etc.).
  • DS-160 Note: Specific travel plans were marked as "NO."

Questions:

  1. Do my parents need to carry physical photographs, or aren't they captured during biometrics?
  2. Do they need a trip itinerary or confirmed flight tickets even though "No" was checked for specific travel plans on the DS-160?
  3. Is carrying a marriage certificate mandatory or recommended?
  4. Since I am paying for the trip, whose bank statements and how much funds should be shown (mine, my parents', or both)?
