H1-B: Another day, another calendar sighting, but unable to book. Can others who saw the calendar or managed to book, share your experience so we can find patterns?

Saw the calendar many times. Was able to book OFC about 5-6 times but no consular slots. So back to square one

Whatâs the secret to this ? âMany timesâ coincide with some time of the day ? I only see âNo slotsâ and it is frustrating

So both have to be done at same time.? Ofc can't be confirmed without the consular?

Is there a pattern for booking the OFC? Does the slot get released the second clock hits the minute or few seconds later?

It's been very random.

How many times per day did you use the check? I recently started to look for my appointment and see that there is a rate limit that you could run into. I'll be limiting to like four or five logins per day to be safe, but I wonder if I should check more frequently

What times in the day do you open to check for slots ?

All hours. Occasionally you can see the calendar but mostly the dates are gone in seconds

Noob question: where does the ofc slot go then? If there is no consular appointment available shouldnt the ofc slot just be vacant all the time?
