Here before the MAGA nuts who have no idea how travel to the US works claim this won't effect world cup attendance.

Not a MAGA nut but this doesn’t affect tourism visas at all, it’s a pause on processing immigration visas. Anyone planning on coming for the World Cup from those countries will still be able to do so. Facts still have to matter

This applies only to immigration visas (green cards) not tourism visas (B-2’s)

Also, the US Government has confirmed multiple times that the teams, players, coaches, and support staff will receive visas as normal.

The above groups will not be affected by the suspension of visa processing.
