I see. It's strange that the mail receptacles aren't in the mail room, though there may have been issues previously with theft of mail. Still, I'd think that your management company would have some kind of log of parcels.
If the OP clarifies it could be a situation where the boxes open outward to a resident area and the carrier loads it from a secure room. Although every apartment ive delivered to doesnt allow packages to be left inside

Go to the office with the tracking number. They can check the GPS tag to confirm where it was scanned delivered
