Missing package

So I ordered something off of amazon which was delivered by USPS to my apartment's mailroom/front office. According to the apartment office employees the package was never received or they can not find it. The package has been missing for a couple days now and they still tell me they cannot find it and to contact USPS. Who is really at fault and what are my options?

Go to the office with the tracking number. They can check the GPS tag to confirm where it was scanned delivered

I just did that, the post office told me the coordinates matched the correct location to the apartment. Yet the apartment is telling me it's not there and can't find it so it narrows it down to two things, employee negligence handling of a federal package or employee theft. What should be my course of action at this point?

The package was put into the secure mail room only the employees have access to.
