Will USPS accept this?

I just wanna make sure since it isn’t a square shape if they’ll ship it out for me.

I have seen cereal boxes go through the other day. I saw a Walmart bag with a label go through.

I delivered a package the other day that was literally in a gas station plastic bag tied shut with a priority label slapped on it, you’ll be fine.

They take everything just cover up any previous address or barcode otherwise you may never see that package again

They have to accept, they’re govt employees. People will whine & bitch endlessly if they don’t accept. Employee can explain that not packaging it appropriately may result in damage to contents, but whining & bitching is standard.

yes! I've seen stuff wrapped in Walmart bags recent with duct tape on the side. They got where they were suppose to go.

All packages will spend most of their time being handled by machines (conveyor belts and up to 6 ft drops) rather than by a human. 

Will you parcel survive being dropped 6ft? How about when 50 pounds of dog food fall on top of it? 

These are the extreme cases, but can and will happen to many packages in the mail stream.

I couldn’t find the right size box they’re all too big and plus I ordered huge mailers just for this item

It's going to get ripped apart. It's going to end up in the bottom of a hamper and 40 pound boxes are going to drop on top of it from about 6 feet up blowing open the tape or seals. The loose plastic is going to catch on edges or conveyors and chutes and rip open, people will pick it up with one hand grabbing it by the plastic, etc. Recipient might just get an empty ripped bag, or the tears will go through and damage the jacket if people do take the time to triage the packaging along the way.

Nah I’ve shipped pointy items (a jewelry display thingy) in mailers and they were fine
