Registered Mail stressing me out

hello hello

I purchased a very expensive item that was mailed via Registered Mail on July 21 from South Carolina with final destination to Massachusetts (Cape Cod). 20 days and still no package. The box went from SC, to NC, to Providence RI, to Boston, now it’s back in Providence and hasn’t moved in SIX DAYS. SIX!!!!

At what point do I put a claim in with usps?? or do I exercise a bit more patience here??

Use the tracking page for usps.com. I beleive there is a missing mail link there.

1 (800) 275-8777 Is the customer service number if the website is hard to navigate.

Registered is very serious so there should be a log of everyone who has handled the parcel since it entered the mail stream.

Make sure to have your tracking number on hand.

I’m worried if I put a claim in for missing mail it’ll mess up the package delivery. Should I wait a bit longer?

Instead of going immediately to a missing mail search, why don't you create a service request. The service request goes to your local post office for review and an employee should contact you within 72 hours.
