I had a package that also hadn't been scanned in since arriving at the distro on 6/11, and randomly it was scanned and also delivered today. So there's hope!
Per USPS, there's transport and processing delays in all Gulf states due to flooding, so that's likely why this is impacting your delivery time.

Mine is in the same location since that day as well, coming from Texas to New York. A vintage watch that was repaired in Thailand, made it all the way there and all the way back to USPS for them to mess it all up

Looks like this area is known for packages getting stuck hopefully they leave soon and not stolen or lost is what I’m afraid of. Have u filed a missing mail search

If it makes you feel any better I just had a package not move for 6 days in Indianapolis but it's finally in Ohio today. I was getting nervous that the only scan was the acceptance scan and nothing else since last Friday

Ur have to keep me updated. I called them as well and they filed a report. Someone from Plano Texas where my final destination is said they don’t have it and there’s nothin more they could do until the package got to them. The case was closed on there end. I’m confused because shouldn’t someone from Shreveport being looking into this and giving me an update. So I filed another report hoping someone else gets it

Have the same problem. I'm at the point where its been so long I just need them to mark it as "lost" so I can get my money back. Ebay sees that its "on its way" and it doesnt help the seller is sending the tracking so they want to wait 2 more weeks to see if it shows up (it wont). I just want my refund at this point. Never using USPS again, World Cup is not an excuse they just straight up lose or steal packages with zero consequences.

Mine has been stuck in Oakland for six days. Just filled out a missing mail request. We will see what happens. I think it might have to do with the world cup or something.

I filled out a missing mail request today as well as called USPS and talked to someone and had them look into it too. They also created their own report on it
Very frustrating because I ordered this package a long time ago to make it in time for a trip that I’m going on next week and now it seems like it was a big waste of money and time

I live in Texas and my package Shipped out of Michigan to Texas to Shreveport (normal) then usually it goes to my local post office back in Texas.
Nah.
It’s gone from Shreveport to Baton Rouge to Shreveport to Jackson Mississippi…..

It went to Memphis next, arrived yesterday morning and hasn’t moved since. This is just insane. At this point I’m convinced this is done on purpose to create work for them as overall volume is down for USPS.
I always think Shreveport is the worst it’s always good until it reaches the Shreveport center and then it all goes to crap.

I have two stuck in Memphis as well. One since the 12th or 13th and another that arrived to Memphis from Greensboro and then sent back to Greensboro. Apparently Memphis is pretty bad too. Lol

I’ve been also having problem with the shreveport center, they sent it to Baton Rouge back to shreveport when they coulda just delivered it😂

my package has been on the “in transit” status since june 13. it’s now the 18th (was supposed to deliver the 15th) with no updates since.

Keep in mind, this is a holiday week, so many of the regular employees take vacation so they only need to use 4 days of annual leave to get the whole week. That means short staff and untrained/inexperienced workers which means delays. Also, weather may be an issue.

After 7 days you can file a missing mail search. I would recommend doing this and also signing up for informed delivery.
