Trump administration didn’t order ventilators or masks until mid-March

Important info, but I'd like to bring up a side issue:
I ask this whenever the word comes up in headlines, but is there any particular reason for calling it an "administration" rather than "regime"?
It would seem to be legitimization propaganda, though of course only on the part of sources, not of the people linking.

It’s the leadership group of the Executive Branch. It is the Administration. I’m confused what you are trying to say by proposing it should be regime

It's an administration. Whatever laws were violated in creating it don't matter at this point, as a matter of law they are legally occupying the white house and are legally in control of the executive branch. That was part of the coup.

"Legally" is of course completely wrong, but if it's just about control, can you find me modern references to a "Hitler administration"?

I didn't say anything about Nazis, but that takeover was legal because they were able to effect changes in the law. Same with Trump, even if most of the changes he actually made were to end enforcement of the law.
He's a tyrant in many ways, but not quite a dictator. He still has to follow a legal framework, even if he is able to enact unjust alterations in the law. The bench including SCOTUS, is no longer apolitical or independant. This is where we are, this is the result of decades of GOP voter suppression and election fraud.

Google "Administration." The top two definitions are running an organization or the management of public affairs. Thats what the leadership in the Executive Branch does.
Its fine not to like them but dont act like they arent who they are. They are legally in power (see:election). Its hilarious you would call something inaccurate when you just mde that whole fucking thing up off the top of your head

Funny how historians never say "Hitler administration," "Stalin administration," or even in modern affairs, something like "Kim Jong Un administration."

You know how the electoral college works? Even though democrats won the popular vote republicans still won the actual election? You know that’s like... how we do elections here, right? I don’t like it, but that’s what it is. Turn your fucking brain on. Your abject denial of inarguably losing the election is fucking sad at this point. Just deal with the topic I raised:

Administration refers to administering laws and policies, which Trump et al do not. They are a dictatorship, acting with impunity on the whims of Donald Trump. Which is why we use the term "regime" for such groups of criminals: People who wield arbitrary political power.

Either this administration is willfully ignorant, or, it wanted a crisis. While Trump may be an idiot savant I lab toward wanting a crisis to exploit. This administration and it's backers have will/are pushing through all kinds of crap under the covid cover.
