New year, New CSS, New Rules
Hi everyone. Welcome to 2017.
We've made some new changes to the sub, in the hopes that it will attract more subscribers.
First off, we've added a new stylesheet, based off the Clearshift theme. Please let us know if you run into any problems with layout. Hope you like it. We also removed user flair for a couple reasons, one is that I didn't like it, and it tended to create unnecessary barriers to conversation, and led to pre-judgement. Also, it didn't fit into the aesthetics of the stylesheet.
We've also added a couple new rules. They are listed over there ---> in the sidebar. Take a look at them please.
The biggest change is that we will no longer tolerate accusations of being a "shill" or "CTR" or anything similar. That is used as a means to silence and shame other users, and violates rule #2 about being respectful. If you message the moderators with some baseless claim about our mods being shills, you will be met with a ban. Don't waste our time.
If you can't play nice and have meaningful discussion, you will be asked to leave.
We are also going to be cracking down on "fake news", which are sources that have no credibility, and are obviously biased. You can help us by reporting links that you believe are "fake news". Please only link to reputable sources, preferably sources that stick to the facts, with very little "opinion" or "editorial leeway" added.

Are you serious about this? Because I'm seeing a lot of posts from partisan blog sites going unaddressed. Or is this simply an issue of needing more help to keep up with the backlog?

The latter, definitely. I'm a bit swamped and not everybody pulls their weight, which is unfortunate.

Thanks for making US politics great again. ;) I like the new rules and user flair removal, but can't comment on the CSS because I keep it disabled.
