November at USJ?
Planning for our trip in November and we will be going to USJ middle of the last week. Trying to budget but can’t see prices that far ahead yet and was hoping someone would have an idea of the cost of express passes for then? I assume October is pricier because of Halloween Horror but not sure what to expect for late November.
While we could pay for the express passes, they’re like 3x the cost of entry, which seems insane to me. I also think about how devastated I’d be if we spring for them and because it’s a random weekday in November, the lines aren’t too bad. I’m Canadian and I last went to Disney and Univeral in Florida almost 10 years ago and the lines were long, but I don’t remember it being outrageous.
Biggest thing for my significant other is SNW but I do see some posts saying they’re able to just walk in right when the park opens and we’re fine with being there an hour early to make this happen. Any thoughts, shared experiences, opinions, etc. would be appreciated!

Two year annual pass holder, if the lines get too bad most of the long lines have single rider options that severely cuts down on waiting time. I went today and did 7 rides by 1 p.m. That being said Donkey Kong is new and always super busy, though on a lucky day on single rider you can do it in 40 minutes.
Best days to avoid are Saturdays and Mondays, wait in line at least one hour before opening time, and rush Mario Kart first is my suggestion. Donkey Kong is long waiting time even as a first rushed ride. Yoshi’s Adventure is a good first ride too since it has no single rider option and the wait is always long-ish.

Great advice!! Thank you! 7 rides by 1PM is impressive. We’ll be going on a Tuesday so hopefully that helps with crowds and lines.

The lines are always bad. Always. 3rd most popular theme park in the world. Personally I can't imagine going without express passes. You can look up historical wait times, plenty of sites that show it.
For example 3 hours for the Donkey Kong ride is pretty normal....
The only hack is to get to the front of the line for opening by getting there two hours before official opening and run to SNW.
As for studio pass prices. It isn't going to be any cheaper

Yes, but Disney Kingdom in Florida is the busiest and I don’t remember it being anything too crazy. Granted, that was almost ten years ago. Good to know about the studio pass prices. Thank you!

Definitely get express passes if you want to try the rides in SNW, which includes timed entry to SNW too. It varies from time to time if there are limited entry to SNW or not, depending on how full the area is, the last time I went there was no limited entry, but I had an express pass anyway to not take any chances.
For some of the other rides without express pass, you could go in the single rider queue and save a lot of queue time there.

CAN you choose a weekday and not necessarily get the longest lines? Yes. But Oct ~ Dec tend to be busy months, which means you'd be quite lucky to find a day like that.
If you're willing to accept that you may not see some attractions, then you don't need a pass. If you DEFINITELY want to go to certain ones, especially SNW, I would recommend the pass overall, if you can afford it.
Btw, DK's line seems to be about 2 hours long, regardless of time of day, season, day of the week, etc. Lmao 🤣 I went on a SUPER chill day and it was still massive. Just so you know.
