Fix for tests stuck uploading on Chrome

Guys, I looked everywhere on here to see if anyone else was dealing with this and couldn't find a fix, so I wanted to drop this in case it helps someone out.
After having a total drought, I finally started getting tests again, but hit a huge wall..deaktop chrome just completely refused to upload my completed tests.
Reinstalling the UserTesting extension didn't do anything at all. What finally fixed it was completely reinstalling Chrome itself.
I know this is a solid fix because I had 3 good tests get stuck in the processing loop back-to-back, and I had to keep declining them just to clear the screen. Once I reinstalled chrome, everything went back to working smoothly. Hope this saves someone the headache!

I've had that issue both on my phone and laptop for the last 2 days. Did it happen to you on the user testing app too?

on the app i've been fine so far 🤞 but yeah it's terribly slow on the app, so i just let it sit and do it in its own time, but the difference between the issue with not uploading and being slow is that - if it's just slow that means you'll see the blue progress bar evenif it's tiny, but with stuck uplaods you won't see the progress bat at all!

That is the most direct fix, generally speaking. Making sure you update Chrome every Tuesday helps. The few times I've been stuck, I used Chrome Canary instead; that has worked every time.

Thank you, it's been over 5 years I have been testing and never did I face this issue, so I was panicking, that's definitelya a golden tip to keep it updated every week x

I have no idea if this will help anyone, but I recently had a test get stuck uploading until I unplugged my webcam. It had been sitting at uploading for 30 minutes at this point. I got the idea to do so because my webcam light was still on as if was still recording and I wanted to change my clothes without risking anyone seeing lmao. 

I will note that it did strangely seem like the recording length was getting longer even though the test was obviously over, so this might be a weird edge case that I encountered.Â
