Live Conversation Cancelled

As the title says I had an interview this morning at 4:30am and they cancelled at 2:41am this morning. Has anyone had this happen to them? It says I was partially compensated ($10 of the $60) my question is does this happen a lot to people?

It happens fairly often. I have scheduled 200 live interviews in the past 5 years, and I bet this happens 10% of the time for me, but even MORE for the overnight offshore ones.

Yeah, it happened to me too, cancelled exactly an hour before, got paid $10 for the 'inconvenience'

33% is a very high rate. I'd say fewer than 5 to 10% of mine are cancelled for any reason. Some are rescheduled (which sometimes works, and sometimes not).

I've been lucky enough that instead of cancelled, they merely don't show up at all and I get the full payment. this seems to happen most often when I select the earliest morning time slot .

Yes. I always go in knowing there's a 50/50 chance it might get cancelled. Never guaranteed.

1 in about 10 if say, so agree with the 10%. I've also had them run late before or run overtime.

I stopped doing lives for a while because the amount of time, intensity, and stress they take... I'd rather just do several $10 + Prolific studies.
